Received Counter battery
fire. 1 man killed in
"B" btry 2 injured. no
casualties in our btry
thank god.
Moved guns a little
ways. I pitched a tent
not much doing. Really
giving them hell with
the guns.

at 2:45 in morning.

Germany
Left France for Holland
track broke down but
caught battery soon. Fairly
nice day. Pleanty of dead
cows + horses to look at.

Pushed off for selsden again
as Rien river has risen
in this town. Kraut Patroops
in town every night.

Stayed in position, pleanty of
mud. Got the track stuck
going through a back yard.
Two more tracks stuck trying
to get us out.

Found some bed springs +
a table. pretty nice room
now. Rations came in. Roain

Frank and I went on a little
tour. Picked up some bacon
potatoes + good cherries.
Mad french fries at night
and smoked a cigar that
came in the rations.
Made more French Fries +
ate more cherries. Got sick
on guard but pulled it
as theirs no one else to.

keeps us supplied with apples
invites us in at night to
